The question is why do we want to create pieces with this nature? When looking at this process as an interruption of an industrialized process, placing yourself as the invisible worker within the system, there is a physical or mental introduction into the process of making, and therefore there is inevitably a position being taken. When a certain knowledge, of a new or old process, is acquired, there is an empowerment behind this, transforming our capacity to make informed decisions and actions. By the simple premise; knowledge equals power, and one way of doing this is to invest into knowing about the unseen part of a process, this ‘other side’ ‘hidden side’ is a knowledge that is not bound to somebody else’s motivation. We encourage people to make with what they have available, because the process of making, doing, building, participating, investing and engaging, empowers us into being informed action takers.
